An Interfaith Ministry founded by Ordained Ministers dedicated to caring for your pets as much as you do in your time of need. ~Serving Central Florida~
Our Mission Statement The loss of a pet can devastate a family or an individual. We, at The Pet Pastors, understand that loss and are here to help. We have the experience, empathy, understanding, and compassion to help you and your family through your time of need. Our goal is to provide reasonably priced services - before, during, and after the death of a pet because we understand that your pet is truly a member of your family. We provide pet blessings, marriages, funeral and memorial services, hospital visits, and even Reiki healing services. Our prices are most reasonable and anyone can call on us for at-home services, services at a pet cemetery, or call us in to your local vet's office before or after surgery, or if you've received the news that there is no hope. We will hold your hand and your pet's paw while we perform Last Rites and help your pet find his or her way to the Rainbow Bridge. Our best attributes are that we understand, we know, we have been there, and we can help.
The Five Stages of Grief 1. Denial - Hearing, seeing, or feeling your pet. Still buying food, toys, etc. Not crying. Not accepting or acknowledging your loss. 2. Anger - Feelings of wanting to fight back or get even with someone for your loss. Anger at the deceased for leaving you. Blaming them for leaving. 3. Bargaining - Bargaining may take place before the loss. Attempting to make deals with people, other pets, or God to stop or change the loss. Begging, wishing, or praying for them to come back. 4. Depression - Feelings of hopelessness, frustration, bitterness, and possibly self-pity. 5. Acceptance - Finding comfort and healing. Our lives move forward and focus on fond memories of our lost pet.
These Five Stages of Grief are normal. You will heal and survive. The Pet Pastors can help you go through these stages in a healthy, empathetic, and understanding way.
